  THE SHACK RESOURCES

Note:  As you can see by the below review by SPM president Craig Smith, we neither fully endorse The Shack nor fully condemn it.  In our opinion it has serious doctrinal flaws, but it also has much to recommend it.  As in all things, biblical discernment is required.

Our interest in The Shack, as always, emerges not from our desire to be theological watchdogs (though we have to do this when the situation demands it) but from our desire to find ways to speak the truth into modern culture.  To that end, we have assembled these tools to help you understand the book, the doctrinal issues involved and the ways you might use the popularity of this book as a bridge to interacting with non-beleivers.
